Conference venue for the European Social Network
Simpl. designed the website for the European Social Services Conference (ESSC), the annual gathering of European social services organised by the European Social Network (ESN). It features an interactive programme, speaker profiles and online registration for this international event.
The challenge
Every year, the ESSC brings together social services professionals from across Europe: public decision-makers, service managers, researchers and partners. The website needed to present a packed programme — parallel sessions, workshops, thematic panels, a projects forum — in a clear and accessible way, guide participants through the registration process and remain easy to update from one edition to the next, such as the 2022 event in Hamburg.
Our approach
Simpl. structured the website around the participant’s journey: a day-by-day programme, with timings and venues; speaker profiles linking biographies to sessions; and direct access to registration from every page. The news, partners and practical information sections round off the site. The bilingual interface and the conference’s visual identity, consistent with the ESN’s graphic style, ensure the overall coherence of the site.
The result
The European Social Network now has a clear platform that centralises the programme, speakers and registration, and can be reused from one edition of the conference to the next. Participants can quickly find the information they need, and the organising team can update the content independently.
