Website for a European energy association

The challenge

E.DSO federates Europe's leading electricity distribution network operators (DSOs) and represents their interests before European institutions. The association brings together more than 35 operators and several national associations across some twenty European countries, covering the majority of electricity metering points in the Union. Its website needed to carry demanding institutional positioning, structure dense technical content (energy policy, smart grids, regulation, R&I projects) and serve as an interface function with European decision-makers.

Our approach

Simpl. designed E.DSO's website to articulate the association's missions: institutional representation, exchange platform between operators, monitoring of European R&I projects, political monitoring of the Union's energy package. The site structure makes technical content readable (technology radar, funded projects, position papers) and supports the advocacy function with European institutions. The visual identity aligns with the institutional register expected from a reference player in the European energy sector.

The result

Simpl. delivered to E.DSO an institutional website that structures representation, monitoring and knowledge-sharing activity on European smart grids. The platform supports the interface between member operators and European institutions on the major workstreams of the energy transition.
