EPHA3

EPHA
In 1993, the European Public Health Alliance (EPHA) was founded in Belgium with the aim of protecting and improving public health in Europe.

EPHA fights for better health in Europe, bringing together healthcare professionals and patient groups.

Challenges

EPHA, the European Public Health Alliance, had a number of specific requirements for its various websites. Each site had a unique purpose, but shared common issues in terms of user experience, functionality and consistent visual identity.

  • Lack of specific features
  • Inconsistent user experience
  • No common visual identity
Common visual identity

To ensure consistency between EPHA's different sites, we created a common visual identity that reflects their mission and values. This consistency reinforces the brand and provides a seamless user experience.

Unique features

Each site had its own needs in terms of functionalities. For example, for the Clean Air for Health site, we integrated an air quality comparator between different cities. For "Medics for Clean Air", we set up a testimonial section for health professionals. These features were designed to further engage visitors and facilitate action.

Interactive features

Elements such as voting forms, surveys and contact forms were custom integrated into each site to improve engagement and collect valuable data.

Medics for Clean Air

Medics for Clean Air is a group of members of the medical community from across Europe who are speaking out on this public health and climate emergency.

Foresight Fresher

The overall objective of the FRESHER project was the representation of alternative futures where the detection of emerging health scenarios is used to test future research policies to effectively tackle the burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The project aimed to identify alternative future health scenarios for Europe, taking into account long-term structural trends in demographics, technology, economic, environmental and societal factors up to 2050.

EU4health

We believe that a Europe where all citizens are as healthy as possible throughout their lives is possible. A Europe that promotes the well-being of people of all ages, and where people can live, work and age in healthy, sustainable environments. A Europe that promotes rapid access to affordable, high-quality healthcare for all.

Clean Air for Health

In many European cities, air pollution poses a significant threat to human health. For Europe, the World Health Organisation estimates that over 500,000 premature deaths are attributed to air pollution (WHO Europe, 2018), including 400,000 premature deaths in the EU-28.

Clean Cooking for Public Health

Manifesto for healthy indoor air, free from pollutants from gas stoves. Policies must protect us from the health hazards associated with gas cooking. With this manifesto, the health community unites to warn of the health hazards of gas cooking and to demand decisive action from decision-makers to protect the health of all Europeans.
